Bad Decisions by White Men

Today Senator Orrin Hatch declared that he would oppose the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court of the United States. Hatch felt that her "statements and record were too much at odds with the principles of the judiciary."

What may have been most at odds with Hatch's judicious principles seems to be Sotomayor's comment that "a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." Perhaps Hatch should think again. Consider some of the bad decisions made by white males:



So 4 out of 5 ain't bad and Gigli proves that no one, not even Latina Women are perfect. But there's one more bad decision a white male has made and that was made by Orrin Hatch when he decided not to support Sonia Sotomayor. Maybe she was right.
